The Constance Travis Charitable Trust is a grant making Trust registered with the Charity Commission, Charity number 294540. The Trust was constituted in 1986 and initially endowed by Constance and Ray Travis. Subsequently, funds have been added to the initial endowment by various members of the Travis family. ​

​

The Trust’s activity is simply making grants from its endowment income. It​ does not raise funds from the public and does not have a trading subsidiary.

​

​​Following a strategic review, the trustees have chosen to concentrate their  support on carefully selected national and international charities. Although the Trust is not narrowing its focus, the trustees kindly ask that prospective applicants only contact the Trust if fomally invited to do so.  

​

The trustees will not be responding to unsolicited applications in the future.

​The Trustees hold the Trust’s endowment to apply its capital and income for the benefit of such charitable institutions or the furtherance of such charitable activities as they think fit. ​

​

 Currently the Trust is making awards to 6 areas of charitable activity.
